Bobby is a 16 year old boy that is trying to raise his baby girl named Feather. Half of the book is about his challenges after Feather is born and the things he feels and experiences as he does that and also the things he is learning about responsibility and love. The other half of the book is about events leading up to him getting a child.
I thought this story was beautiful. It was good to see the ways Bobby changed and his desire to be a good father and also balance the other thigns in his life. I wish he had given Heaven up for adoption, but then we wouldn't have a story.
